Shed the Pandemic Pounds with Hemp Extract

Stress and mental health challenges can be contributing factors leading to weight gain, which were more common in 2020 than anyone could have expected. As the gyms across the globe shut their doors, office buildings followed-suit, leading many of us to swap out our dress pants for sweatpants. 

Over half (61%) of U.S. adults reported undesired weight changes since the COVID-19 outbreak, according to a new American Psychological Association (APA) survey. The new APA survey revealed that out of the 3,000 people surveyed, 2 in 5 adults gained more weight than they intended over the last year. Average weight gain of participants averaged at about 20 pounds per person, but 10% said they gained over 50 pounds.

This human clinical study measured a variety of physical factors, such as weight, BMI, girth, anxiety, appetite, pain, mood, etc. The subjects of the clinical trial were not told this study was meant to focus on weight loss, and believed they were enrolled in a general product safety study. 

Subjects were divided into two groups, Group A and Group B, and made no changes to diet or exercise. Groups were each given either 50mg/day or 100mg/day of Arbor Slim, respectively, for 90 days. Group A maintained a starting weight of 200-250lbs, and Group B maintained a starting weight of between 250-300lbs. Out of the placebo group of participants, most subjects gained weight, with 64% either gaining weight or seeing no changes at all. However, for the other groups consuming the hemp extract, the results were astounding. 

All participants in the study saw significant improvements in weight outcomes, girth outcomes, BMI reduction, and improvement in inflammation markers. Not only did subjects reduce cravings for sugary foods that often lead to weight gain, they felt overall less hungry throughout the three months. Subjects in this study reported an average hunger reduction of 61% and a 39% reduction in appetite. Although not all participants reported feeling less hungry, 100% of subjects saw improvements in their weight. Subjects who took 4 servings of Arbor Slim Hemp Extract on average lost 5-10 pounds. Similar results came from the second group of subjects who only consumed 2 servings of Arbor Slim per day for 90 days, so if you are new to hemp and want to ease into it, you can always start with a smaller amount and work your way up from there. 

Offered as a citrus-flavored tincture and in the form of soft gel capsules, there are a variety of ways to integrate Arbor’s clinically studied Hemp Extract into your daily routine.
